Our Story

We are a woman- and minority- owned business whose goal is to bring the art and culture of Africa to a wider audience. By featuring traditional designs of diverse African communities, we strive to foster appreciation and celebration of this rich heritage. Our passion lies in curating unique pieces that highlight the vibrant colors and stories behind each design. 

 

We are committed to giving back to our customers and our community.  We will donate at least 10% of our profits to organizations that serve the African American community. Our founding nonprofit recipient is Breakpoint Tennis and Life Skills Academy.  Breakpoint teaches tennis, reading and promotes social and emotional health to predominantly African American at-risk youth.  

Our supply chain partner is Industrial Aid, a nonprofit packaging and distribution facility that provides meaningful employment to primarily African American adults with disabilities.
